You Are Young And Interested In Sexual Education

Health Minister Neven Ljubicic told SDP representative Marija Lugaric he was not surprised by her interest in sex, considering her age.

"This is a very nice suggestion. Considering that you are young, I am not surprised that you are so interested in this sexual education, but I am not talking about sexual education, but health education," Minister Ljubicic responded to Social Democratic Party (SDP) parliament member Marija Lugaric. 

To clarify, at this afternoon's Parliament session, SDP member Lugaric asked when the committee, the founding of which had been announced two months ago, would make a decision regarding the content of sexual education in schools.

"It is a nice suggestion that I am young and therefore more interested in it than others. I think these personal remarks are in no way appropriate," retorted Lugaric to Ljubicic.
