Zagreb’s Arena Will Be Complete by December 15

The construction of the Arena will be complete by December 15, 2008. Workers are currently building the VIP area.

Zagreb’s handball Arena will be complete by December 15, 2008.

“Currently the VIP area is being worked on, and the seating and telescopic grandstands with a capacity of 4,500 have been set up” said the director of Ingra, Igor Oppenheim.

Lunch for workers and media

The completion of the accompanying infrastructure has been announced for the next few days. Zagreb’s mayor Milan Bandic announced a lunch for workers and media representatives in two weeks time, when the interior and approach pathways of the Arena are complete.

“We will organize a luncheon for 800 workers and media, for the to get ‘a little stronger’” said Bandic.

The approaching road next to the overpass will be complete in three weeks time, and the workers are currently working in three shifts, 24 hours a day.

Bandic has refused to comment the construction of a handball building (home) until a meeting is held, which will take place in around ten days day. Bandic does not want to be in debt to the handball players and announced the fulfilment of all which has been promised.
