Zarko Radic Sues HRT And AVA

Actor Zarko Radic sued HRT and AVA production company for non-payment of royalties of the Villa Maria soap re-runs.

Radic said he did not give up his right to a fee of re-runs and this money was never paid to him.

The famous actor claims for the Jutarnji list daily he signed the contract with AVA while the television station was still not known, and AVA subsequently contracted a deal with the Croatian Radio-Television (HRT) of  the series premier screening repurchase, two re-run screenings and a satellite broadcast. He says he spoke with both parties several times, but everyone kept shifting over the responsibility.

Radic requested a ban of the re-run screening, but the judge refused such a proposal, with the explanation that the plaintiff`s claim can be realised in a law-suit even without the rigorous measure of suspending the broadcasting. The law-suit continues.
