Zeljko Jovanovic is an educated version of Josip Djakic

Text

The future minister of science, education and sport, SDP's Zeljko Jovanovic is, politically, nothing more but HDZ's Josip Djakic. The rhetoric, style and behavior of SDP’s ‘’onslaught attacker’’ from the Parliament is at the same level as Djakic's behavior. Minding the difference that Djakic points out people based on their national origin while Jovanovic doesn’t do such thing. And minding the fact that they took two diametrically opposite political sides.

But both of them, unlike other politicians, actually ‘’hate’’. Rhetorical extremists and verbal radicals – they are Djakic and Jovanovic. Considering their extremity that, luckily, in Croatia ends at point of rhetoric only, the question is what they would be if they were born somewhere in the Middle East.

However, there is one huge difference between them – Jovanovic is about to become the minister while Djakic will probably never receive that title since other members of HDZ actually know where he belongs to, considering his very rhetoric.

To make things even worse, the rhetoric of SDP ‘’onslaught attacker’’ didn’t improve in the moment when it became certain that he would become the future minister of education and sport.  Furthermore, he at least didn’t call HDZ members” a swamp full of mosquitoes spreading malaria infection that has to be drained out”. However, he made such comparison in terms of the Croatian Football Federation (HNS).

- HNS is a huge swamp of irresponsible behavior in which there are lots of mosquitoes that fly up in the air, suck blood and spread malaria. The problem of malaria and sucking blood from Croatian sports cannot be solved out by driving off only one mosquito. The whole swamp should be drained out! Zdravko Mamic along with Vlatko Markovic is a part of that swap that should be drained out – said Jovanovic during the interview for Sportske novosti journal.

Those were the words of the future minister for education! But the future minister didn’t stop at that statement. He titled Mamic as an arrogant hypocrite and a coward. He sent him a message:

- I think that there is no place for Mister Mamic in our vision of sport.

Of course, it’s time to resolve the situation within the Croatian Football Federation and Dinamo. Of course, it’s time to investigate business and work within HNS, Dinamo, other football clubs, football referees and Zdravko Mamic, but to send a message this way and in rhetoric manner like mentioning swamp, malaria, mosquitoes and draining out the swamp eventually end in one very dangerous message absolutely inappropriate for one minister. Especially for a minister who is supposed to cooperate the educational department.

It wasn’t yesterday when Zdravko Mamic started to act like a person without any manners; it wasn’t yesterday when Zdravko Mamic started to disgrace news reporters considering them as inferior beings. It wasn’t yesterday when he started to arrange ‘’suspicious’’ sponsor contracts with players. Neither Vlatko Markovic became the HNS president only recently. Maybe for Zeljko Jovanovic things weren’t the way it was mentioned so he didn’t feel need to discuss over that subject in Parliament before. And take journalists’ side in those moments when Mamic would underestimate them during the pres-conferences. Or react when Mamic would take off his clothes at the airport and in his boxer shorts when the whole situation was followed by the tamburitza orchestra.

Or, why he didn’t react when it was election for HNS president when Vlatko Markovic was re-elected again. Why he rested speechless when this burlesque around the election started to happen? Now Jovanovic considers Markovic as a malaria mosquito in the swamp that should be drained out. Markovic repaid him with words that he knows which Jovanovic’s origin was that was followed by his rhetoric. This isn’t a way one minister should communicate and send messages but it’s not the way of one top football organization president to behave either.

Zeljko Jovanovic doesn’t choose words when getting even with political and other unlike-minded people. He called HDZ a crime organization, he ‘’hated’’ them at every Parliamentary session. Now Jovanovic ‘’hates’’ HNS, Markovic and Mamic. Who is next? The Grozd association which has the opposite stands compared to Jovanovic? And Jovanovic will simply have to communicate with the association over the subject of schools. Or are the Church representatives next, those ones who teach religious education in school? Will Jovanovic call them primitive over his interviews considering his slightly radical stands?

Zeljko Jovanovic graduated from med school and economy. He has a master degree in the area of marketing management and PhD degree in the area of medical science. Josip Djakic graduated form the Center for energetic and process techniques high school in Zagreb, he has a high school diploma and the title of professional worker in the field of mining and oil.

From this perspective, considering the educational level Jovanovic is far ahead from Djakic but ahead of other MPs too, so he should behave that way. Although the suits fit him better than suits fit Djakic, when Jovanovic starts his repayment he becomes exactly the same as Djakic.
