After Zeljko Mitrovic, the owner of TV Pink, had found out about the invitation for a representative of Serbian Embassy to have a meeting in Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he sent an open letter to this institution. He said that there was nothing they can do to prevent issuing information which are useful for the citizens of Serbia, like the attacked Serbian people visiting Croatia or bad food that is imported from Croatia (especially through Agrokor)….
Here is the original letter of Zeljko Mitrovic:
Dear Sirs from Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
With all the respect for the institution, I would like to explain the following after your reaction:
There is nothing you or any other institution in Croatia can do to prevent TV Pink broadcasting information about the attacked or abused citizens of Serbian nationality on the Croatian territory. I also have to remind you, and I hope you’ll agree, that we can’t hide and not reveal the information about the goods and products from Croatia that are defective, polluted or poisonous and sold in the Serbian market. When it comes to abduction of Serbian property, we leave this problem to the international institutions and your, as well as our legal authorities.
We hope that you’ll understand that our professional, moral and ethical standards force us to act responsibly in the category of protection of Serbian consumers. So I think that you will realize yourself that your statements are not appropriate for the diplomatic and proper communication.
If you have any reasonable doubts about the illegal action of TV Pink, we would like to hear about it.
Hoping that you won’t stop the pieces of information which are not in your favor, although they are completely true, I stay
Sincerely yours,
Zeljko Mitrovic
