The European energy companies Gazprom, E.ON Ruhrgas, ENI, Wingas and GDF Suez have agreed upon founding a gas consortium in order to find a exit from the Russian – Ukraine gas dispute, said the Russian assistant to the premier, Igor Secin, report Russian agencies.
“Gazprom, the German E.On and Ruhrgas, Wingas, the Italian ENI and the French Gaz de France, all agreed on participating in an international gas consortium” stated Secin.
The consortium should supply the Ukraine with technical gas needed for the functioning of the Ukraine’s gas pipelines. 140 million cubic meters of gas is needed for the pipeline in the Ukraine in order to restart the ordinary supply of gas.
