NEW YORK, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices in New York fell overnight, heading toward $83 per barrel after a three-day rally on Wall Street faded in the previous trading session.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude shed $1.98 to reach $83.32 per barrel Friday morning. Home heating oil lost 2.15 cents to reach $2.9717 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices shed 3.88 cents to reach $2.7629 per gallon.
Henry Hub natural gas prices lost 1.1 cents to reach $3.895 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose by 1 cent from $3.582 per gallon Thursday to $3.592, AAA said.
