EBRD Invests In Strok`s Hotels

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) plans to invest 52.6 million euros in the GS Hotels & Resorts company.

GS Hotels & Resorts which manages the Croatian Jadranski luksuzni hoteli group (Adriatic Sea Luxury Hotels), is owned by Goran Strok. In EBRD project summary it is stated that the purpose of the investment is to help the development of high-quality tourist capacities which are in accordance with the environment in Croatia, as it is to help with the development of similar tourist capacities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia.

EBRD will invest 25.1 million euros and issue out a loan of 27.5 million euros

EBRD money will invest in the reconstruction of GS Hotels & Resorts in order to consolidate the control over the ownership and the management of interests in hotels in Croatia. EBRD plans to invest 25.1 million euros in the refinancing of GS Hotels & Resorts, and is planning to issue out a loan of 27.5 million euros to the company’s branches, the Business.hr writes.
