In order to get financial means for other operations, Ford intends to sell its share in Aston Martin.

The sale of Aston Martin for the amount of 450 million pounds is expected to be announced as soon as this week.

Consortium is a potential buyer

The potential buyers are Formula 1 team Prodrive in consortium with Egyptian investment bank Naeem. Apart from them, British company Doughty Hanson is another party interested in the purchase.

Last year, Ford announced that it would sell its share in Aston Martin in order to obtain financial means for other business operations, reports Poslovni dnevnik.
