Unemployment rate in Germany continues to drop in the light of economic recovery of this largest European economy.
It the light of economic growth in Germany, unemployment rate continues to drop. It amounts to 8.8 percent in June, in relation to 9.1 percent in the previous month, Federal department for labour announced on Thursday.
According to this Department`s figures, the number of unemployed persons has dropped from 3,812 million to 3,687 million people in the country with a population of 82 million.
Compared to last year, unemployment figures dropped by 711,000 amidst a more powerful economic growth which has induced employment in the country.
Some German officials have even warned of a shortage of highly-qualified work force, for instance engineers, as a proof of to the extent as to which the economy has come in decreasing unemployment rates in relation to the beginning of 2006, when it amounted to 12 percent.
