Growth Of Retail Sale 14 Percent

Latest Central Bureau of Statistics information for December point to a continuation of stronger turnover growth in retail sale.

During last year`s final month, retail sale turnover, accomplished by all legal persons, recorded a nominal and real growth of 15.2 percent, which was expected because of personal consumption growth before the holidays in December, Presscut.hr writes.

Last year`s turnover increase of 4.8 percent

At the same time, at a yearly level, nominal trade increase in retail was 5.6 percent, while in real figures we note an increase of 4 percent. During the entire past year, turnover growth in retail sale amounted to 4.8 percent, while during the same period a real yearly increase of 2.1 percent was recorded.
