In the first six months of this year Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) generated HRK61.1 in net profit, up 4.8 percent compared to the same period the year before, the HPB said in a statement on Thursday.
Housing loans increased by 15.6 percent, the process of organising the loan portfolio has continued and the capital adequate rate has gone up to 14.77 percent, the bank said in the statement.
The bank's operating profit at the end of H1 was HRK141 million, up 35.8 percent compared to the same period the year before.
The bank set aside 79.9 million, namely 57 percent of its operating profit, for business losses. (Hina)
