Molnar said the government plans to use about one third of the amount of strategic reserves which can be pumped into the system in a day.
The government earlier said that about 3.6 million cubic metres of gas per day can be pumped into the network from the strategic reserves and about 52 million a day from commercial reserves.
Molnar added that Hungary expected to receive 4 million cubic metres of natural gas via Austria, partly due to E.ON-Ruhrgas' offer to supply gas to Hungary.
