PBZ Card Profit Grows

The net profit of PBZ Card in 2006 was 152.2 million kuna, which in comparison with 2005 is an increase of 63 percent

At the end of 2006 PBZ Card had more than 2,3 million issued American Express cards, Mastercards and Visa cards, of which there are nearly 466,000 American Express cards, which presents a growth of 9.2 percent compared to 2005.

Growth of the number of MasterCards and Visa cards

The number of MasterCards and Visa cards grew by 17.2 percent, and at the end of 2006 the number of issued MasterCards and Visa cards was 1.9 million. In 2006, PBZ Card had nearly 50,000 sales centers, which represents a growth of 11.6 percent compared to 2005. The total transactions of the PBZ sales centers was 15.7 billion kuna which represents a 21.7 percent growth compared to 2005, whilst there was a total of 59.2 million transactions, or 19.6 percent more than in 2005.

Growth of loans by 4.8 percent

During 2006 there was consumer, cash and revolving credits approved totaling 1.9 billion kuna which represents a growth of 4.8 percent compared to 2005. This growth was contributed to by new cheaper conditions of crediting with cards introduced during the year, written by Poslovni dnevnik.
