ZAGREB, CROATIA – The sale of the new iPhone, Apple’s mobile miracle, began in Croatia. A 100-metre long line of people stood in front of the T-Mobile store in Zagreb as early as 6 o’clock in the morning to buy the mobile telephone.
A bit before nine o’clock when the sale started, T-HT’s CEO Ivica Mudrinic arrived at the Cvjetni Square in Zagreb where the sale of the iPhones took place.
- For me this is an innovation that will define mobile telephony, that will define the ways in which people will use mobile phones – Mudrinic said, presenting the iPhone 3G.
Greeting the gathered people who were patiently waiting for the countdown for the sale to begin, Mudrinic entered the T-Mobile store and started the countdown.
Apple struck a gold mine with iPhone, a mobile device that combines all characteristics of a 3G mobile phone with the iPod. It has a very attractive design and a very aesthetical and functional interface. It has a touch-screen that started a revolution in mobile telephony and set the iPhone as the target of many competition companies which often copy it.
Although it is much better equipped than its predecessors, the iPhone 3G is also almost doubly cheaper and is very popular with people, which was proved by the mass of gathered people in front of the store.
