Pliva will file a law suit against the Croatian Agency for Supervision of Financial Services (HANFA) to the Constitutional Court.
The reason for the law suit is a HANFA decision, according to which the Croatian pharmaceutical company Pliva, had not acquainted shareholders with sensitive price information from March 13 through 17 2006.
By regulations of Zagreb and London stock exchange
Pliva stressed that it had acted in accordance with regulations of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange, to the best interest of the shareholders. Since there was unbinding, multiply conditioned interest in the company, Pliva did not issue the contents of an Actavis memorandum Dated March 13, 2006 immediately upon its receipt. However, after Actavis publicised its interest in the company, shareholders were informed about its receipt on March 17, 2006, say company officials.
