Profit Drop For Hungarian Pharmacist 80%

Hungarian Egis reported a drop of profit of even 80 percent for the first business quarter of the current year.

A change of Russian medicine subventions system is to blame as well as the strong Hungarian forint, the Poslovni dnevnik writes.

Unconsolidated net profit dropped from 25,6 million euro in the same period of the current year to 5,13 million euro. At the same time, sales decreased by 5.9 percent to 88,4 million euro.
