Salaries Increase by 6.2 Percent

Last November salaries in Croatia increased significantly, but still did not pass the limit of 5,000 kuna.

The State Bureau of Statistics had issued most recent results on the average monthly net salary, which, in last year’s November, amounted to 4,883 kuna. The average net salary for last November, thus, rose by 288 kuna, or 6.2 percent in relation to November 2005.

On a monthly level, salaries increased by 6.5 percent, or almost 300 kuna in relation to October 2006.

The average monthly gross salary for November in Croatia was 7,097 kuna. In relation to October, it was an increase of 504 kuna, or 7.6 percent.
