Should we pay the pupils against the absenteeism

Text

Lets pay the pupils with the French taxpayers money so that they deign to follow the courses which the Republic offers them gracefully

The Minister of Education, Luc Chatel, defended on Friday the idea to distribute bonuses to the pupils of the professional high schools to fight against the absenteeism. He specified that it was not a question of paying the pupils but - to finance a collective project -. - We experiment because what we want, it is to win the battle against the school absenteeism -, he said on France Info, specifying that this formula was tested in a limited number of establishments.

In the Créteil Academy, six classes of professional high schools will see their diligence rewarded by the financing of projects of group being able to go to 10.000 euro a year. The vice-chancellorship took this initiative, experimentally, to try to check the absenteeism striking the professional establishments. The capacity of a high school students group respecting their commitments will depend on the amount of received subsidies.

For the association SOS education, which allegedly counts 80.000 members, this measure is - a real affront to the professors - and is - immoral -. Will we soon have to pay our pupils so that they agree to run during P.E. and sports education, or to give them productivity bonuses when they open their case? -, she asks in a communiqué.

According to Marine Le Pen, vice-president of the National Front, the whole thing focuses on the respect that we should feel about the Nicolas Sarkozy's - last farce -.- High school students flee the school? No problem. Nicolas Sarkozy, who has answer to everything, found the solution: pay the pupils with the French taxpayers money so that they deign to follow the courses which the Republic offers them gracefully! -, she writes in a communiqué.
