Technological Stocks Grow Stronger

New indications of weakness on the American real estate market interrupted 5 days ascent of DOW Jones value index.

American technological shares on Monday realized gains after positive broker evaluation of companies such as the Dell. But new signs of weakness on the American real estate market interrupted 5 days ascent of New York´s DOW Jones value index.

DOW recorded  loss of 0.1 percent, on 12.469 points. However technological  NASDAQ grew stronger 0.3 percent, on 2.455 points.

At the beginning of stock-exchange trade, information about sharp fall of sold new houses number in the USA during February reduced the DOW value index for more than 100 points. Namely, the sale of houses has been reduced 3.9 percent on month as regards 18 percent on annual level. But, in the last trading hour the blue-chip stocks started to achieve gains, while  technological and energy stocks emphasized the most.

"Turn was led by technological stocks that strongly took off. When brokerage firms announced their clean reports for several technological companies including the Dell that helped to rise values. It is seems that it could be more activities of merger and acquisition, especially in the technological sector",  said John O' Brien, the Vice President of MKM Partner.

Stocks of the Dell computer company jumped 3.5 percent after the Goldman Sachs raised the investment rating for its stocks. That brokerage firm also raised  estimates of three-month income for the online auction company eBay, what made stronger that stock for four percent. The Apple stock increased the price for 2.5 percent as well.

But, stocks of industrial conglomerations such as 3M got down because of prices growth of crude oil and concerns about the slowdown of demands on the real estate market. 3M stock reduced prices 0.8 percent after oil increased one percent, what means near 63 dollars for the barrel. Stocks of financial and construction companies also reduced values.

On European stock exchanges loss have been recorded as well. Besides concerns about the American real estate market, investors are worried about the political situation related to Iran. London´s Ftse index came down 0.8 percent, on 6.292 points. Frankfurt DAX grew weak more than one percent, on 6.829 points.
