USA ready to declare war on Russia?

Text

American military bases could recently become a constituent component of the Black sea shores in Bulgaria and Rumania

American military bases could shortly become a constituent component of the Black sea shores in Bulgaria and Rumania, as Pentagon is seriously thinking of pouring a sum of 110 millions USD. A base that should be constructed in Rumania should become functional as early as the next year, while the other one situated in Bulgaria should become functional in the next two years. These two will serve as a home away from home for approximately four thousand soldiers, out of which 1600 of them, in Bulgaria.

War in Afganistan

Russian daily newspaper Pravda reminds that the American vice-president Joe Biden, visited recently several East European countries, welcoming the latest configuration of the American antimissile shield, which in plain English would mean that at this point it's still not excluded that certain parts of the defence shield should become a permanent asset located in this part of Europe.

Pentagon previously announced bases' construction

American government is commenting Russian speculations on the possible attack on Russia explaining that these bases were part of the previoulsy established agenda that Bush's administration simply didn't have enough time to carry out.

In fact, Pentagon had previoulsy announcted a transfer of one part of the 55 thousand G.I. Joe's from Germany to the countries of the former Eastern block. Alexander Kramchikin, Russian military analyst confirms that USA confirmed the same scenario on the establishement of those bases ten years ago, but also that the Americans need more bases for their military actions in the Middle East and that these should serve them as an additional reinformcement of their military forces in the region.

Russia will find itself trapped

This sort of an opinion is obviosly shared by Konstantin Sivkov, a vice-president of the Russian Academy for geo-political issues, who asserts that these new bases would serve Americans as a threat to the Russian military interests. Furthermore, he asserts that the number of American soldiers in the beginning won't be a major issue, while it's still a bit cloudy what the final figures will be.

Sivkov emphasizes that even NATO presence in the Black Sea will serve as an annexe to the American bases already constructed in the Baltic. Sivkov equally believes that for this reason Russia will find itself trapped. USA will use two military basis, and given the distance on the line Rumania - Middle East, that mounts up to approximately four thousand kilometers.

If one should follow common sense, it's obvious we're talking about the much too great distance in recent American efforts to increase their strongholds in Iraq and Afghanistan. USA commenced slowly but surely withdrawing its soldiers from the muddy Middle East, therefore such a country should forget about strenghening its infrastructure, asserts analyst.

Why the students learn Russan at the West Point?

As a final point Sivkov is emphasizing one interesting phenomenon. In fact, American military academy West Point recently commenced with voluminous programmes of learning of Russian language and culture. Three years before the attack on Iraq West Point Academy students read books in Arabian language, catching up on the Middle East facts and figures, explaining that the White House showed great interest for the energy sources in Caspian Sea, and the new bases, that are yet to be constructed should serve as a guarantees for an oil and gas transport out of that area.
