Volksbank Buys Zepter Bank Of Banja Luka

Volksbank International bought Zepter Komerc bank of Banja Luka, which continued the trend of enlarging the BH banking market.

The acquisition has not yet been announced nor officially taken through the stock exchange trade, but it is expected to happen these days, because a press conference has been announced in Banja Luka on February 5, “anent the merger of Zepter bank into the Volksbank groupation”.

Transaction value of 40 million euro is mentioned, but it has not yet been officially confirmed.

Zepter Komerc bank is a medium sized bank in the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska with assets of 227,8 million cm in the middle of last year, 22.9 million cm of total capital and a 831,000 cm profit.
