ZABA Increases Capital

Zagrebacka banka offers the right to the priority of new shares registration to present shareholders.

Decision on the Zagrebacka banka (Zaba) capital increase by 3,6 billion kuna will be reached at the Zaba general assembly after which the capital and reserves will be increased by 53 percent.

After the recapitalisation, among Croatian banks, Zaba capital will be the largest in Croatia. Bank Austria Creditanstalt will perform a payment of 3,55 billion kuna, Banka reports. Capital adequacy will be 20.2 percent in relation to the legal 10 percent.

The last recapitalisation was performed in 1992 and amounted to 67 million kuna.
