British high street brand Fred Perry hired the new star designer and singer Amy Winehouse.

After being targeted by the paparazzi in 2008, the rumour is that British singer Amy Winehouse will be claiming media headlines with her new occupation as fashion designer. According to the media, she spent the holidays in negotiations with icon brand Fred Perry and is already making some sketches.

- She was almost childishly excited and couldn't stop talking about it – a source told the Sun.

Fashion could not get by without Amy. Karl Lagerfeld copied her style in the Paris-Londres Metiers d`Art collection for Chanel 2007, Roberto Cavalli defined her as “A unique fashion icon”, while Jonathan Kelsey designed shoes dedicated to Amy, Vogue writes.
