Broke World Record for Breaking Watermelons

Last year, John Allwood broke 40 watermelons in a minute at a festival dedicated to the vegetable.

Australian John Allwood on Sunday broke his own record by breaking 47 watermelons with his head in a minute. 

This professional watermelon picker from the town of Chinchilla, some 300 kilometres north of Brisbane, last year 40 watermelons in a minute at a festival dedicated to the vegetable.

A quarter of Australia’s watermelons are grown in Chinchilla and every year it hosts an annual festival dedicated to watermelons.

The participants can also take part in disciplines such as throwing watermelons off their shoulders and distance-spitting its seeds.
