Dino Bubicic Is Croatia`s Mister World Candidate

A vote decided that this Dino Bubicic will compete at the 2009 Mister World pageant as a representative of Croatia.

Dino Bubicic, 2008 Mister Croatia, will be competing for the most handsome man in the world title in Seoul on October 3, 2009.

While the Miss World pageant is held every year, which is something especially the male part of the population enjoys, we have not had the opportunity of seeing the Mister World pageant for the past three years. This year, the world will again have a Mister.

The public has made this decision. Javno website readers relentlessly voted for Dino. Even though the Mister World competition has not been held for three years, the Croatian mister was chosen never the less. This is why the public had to decide which of the three misters will qualify for the pageant in Korea.

Croats had the opportunity of choosing between Alen Kostelac, who was Mister Croatia for 2007, Dino Bubicic who was the most handsome man in Croatia in 2008 or the fresh Mister for 2009 Bruno Oreskovic. Given that Alen vanished after his term and that the public met Bruno just a few weeks ago, it was to be expected that Dino would be representing Croatia.

Interesting Dino

Alen Kostelac handed over the Mister Croatia title to Dino Bubicic in 2008, who was far more represented in the media during his “reign”. Immediately after the pageant, information leaked in the public that Bubi was in prison for pushing drugs, as well as that he allegedly beat his mother. His relationship with singer and TV host Vlatka Pokos was covered for a while, as well as his alleged homosexual preferences, denied by his mother, who said that Vlatka made the whole thing up.

Mister Scandal showed his good side during his three-month stay in the “Farm” reality show, where he gained many fans, who concluded that he is a hard-working and decent young man.

Even though he officially handed over his belt, his “reign” goes on with the trip to Seoul. We hope the jury will recognise what the Croatian public has seen in Dino and decide he is the most handsome man out there for the second time.
