-.-Fashion.hr-.-The names behind Envy Room are two young designers, Nikica Ivancevic and Vjeko Frantovic. They presented their first collection at the start of 2004, and up until today they have exhibited together at Quelle Fashion.hr as well as separately.

The designer signature of Envy Room is characterized by stressing women’s silhouettes with the use of lots of luxury materials like silk, muslin and chiffon. On Saturday February 14, 2009, starting at 8pm as a part of Fashion.hr, Envy Room will present a mini collection inspired by the "boho-glam" look. The retro style with a hint of the 1970s will be presented with ten creations, made from muslin in strong colours, green, wine colour, red  to floral prints, accompanied by gentle tones that are powder coloured, and off white. The details in the collection include: collars, pendants, mini boleros and vests made from artificial fur, with rows of metal necklaces, pendants and lobes.

Unique knitting by Igor Galas

The first association on the work of Igor Galas is unique knitting, however, it is less known that this young designer use a technique of texturing, and creates materials himself which are then without cutting turned into clothing items. He uses only natural materials like cotton, linen and wool.

Galas experiments with volume and proportions in creating, by combining high-tech fabrics and knitwear.

In Varazdin, we will see around 30 monochrome creations of collars and hoods with volume, knitted dresses, coats, vests… tones of black, grey, olive green and beige. Igor Galas’ fashion show for his autumn/winter 2009/2010 collection will be held on Friday, February 13, starting at 8pm.

-.-Fashion.hr-.-Etna Maar – the iron lady

In cooperation with the brand Zoltan, behind which the sculptor Zdenka Gugic stands, the fashion brand Etna Maar will present their upcoming collection inspired by sculptures at the next Fashion.hr event.

The dresses which are full of volume were knitted in black, white and purple, and will be made complete with stainless steel jewellery, which in this case is not only a fashion accessory, but a part of the clothing item. The designer refers to women’s power with this collection, as uses Julia Timosenko as an “iron lady” of the new age.
