Marie Matthews, the dog`s 67-year-old owner claims the dog was being fed by her daughter during the “incident”. It greedily grabbed the mobile phone from her hand and swallowed it whole. Panic occurred because Drekie Boojens, the owner`s daughter, feared for the dog`s life.

The doberman was rushed to an animal clinic and had the phone removed from his stomach the next day. The dog is alive, well and happy, while its greed set back his owner 420 pounds. The mobile phone in question is no longer functional.
