BRITONS TRICK GERMANS

JULY 10 2009 17:37h

Instead of Ipods, Bought Bag of Potatoes

Text

British con artists have sold naïve Germans a bag of potatoes instead of a laptop and mobile phone, and charged 600 pounds for it.

A group of British con artists have managed to trick a group of German iPod buyers, in a very interesting way. After negotiating the price, the Germans accepted to buy a large number of popular iPods worth 600 pounds, not suspecting the surprise that awaited them.

During the purchase, they were shown various laptop computers, mobile phones and other equipment, write the world media.

The agreement was made in Braunschweig. However, the Germans were left empty handed when they found out that instead of the electronic equipment, their bag was only full of potatoes.

The police are searching for the perpetrators, and witnesses claim that the con artists spoke English fluently, and drove a car with British registration plates.
