The Croatian representative, Kristina Situm from Vinkovci, travelled to the Montenegrin summer destination Budva, where together with 50 finalists from around the world, she spent five days preparing for the competition. Kristina was not one of the winners, but received a diploma called “Little Carla Bruni”.

“I was not amongst the first five, but I received the diploma “Little Carla Bruni”, I passed at all 15 castings and received offers for Switzerland, London and Italy. I am not disappointed, I am happy because I think that it may be better that I did not win, because I am 15 years old and I do not know how I would travel by myself, so I was mainly content with my results” said Kristina.

The spectacular finale of the competition was broadcast on more than 30 world television stations, and the program was led by the Venezuelan Patricia Velasquez, the world top-model and actress known for her roles in “The Mummy” and “The Mummy Returns”.

This year’s Croatian choice for the Ford Supermodel competition also marked ten years of work for the fashion agent Tihana Harapin-Zalepugin, and her fashion agency Talia Model.
