Lacroix banned from doing high fashion

Lacroix is using all the means available in a series of unsuccessful attempts to preserve his fashion empire.

Tuesday was a sad day for many fashion lovers. Namely, the Commercial Court of Paris ruled that Christian Lacroix’s fashion empire can no longer produce pret-a-porter collections and lines of high fashion. This fashion house is permitted to produce only male shirts, wedding dresses, knitting and perfumes.

Recall, after the request for bankruptcy was filed earlier this year, Lacroix began searching for the company's financiers. However, after they failed to substantiate their financial plans the court made this for many, sad decision, writes Vogue.

- This is the worst possible decision, and I am simply speechless. I will try this challenge it in every way I can, but it seems that nobody in this cynical world is interested in my fate - complained Christian Lacroix.
