Meet Beauty Pageant's Rijad, Helena and Tomislav

We are presenting contestants for Miss and Mister Croatia, Rijad Mujcin, Helena Madunic and Tomislav Maric.

We are continuing with the presentation of contestants for Miss and Mister Croatia 2009. This time we are presenting two young men and one young woman. 

Rijad Mujcin: I come from Slavonski Brod and I am 17. I am currently completing the Industrial-Crafts high school. My hobbies are modelling and football, but I’m not quite as good as my uncle Edin Mujcin. My parents were proud and happy that I applied for the Mister Croatia pageant.

Helena Madunic: I am 17 years old and I come from Banova Jaruga. I completed the third grade of high school of economy in Novska.

I have been modelling for seven years now. I applied for the Miss Croatia contest with my friend Kristina Kuna who won the Miss Sisak-Moslavina County beauty pageant, while I was the first runner-up. She became a direct contestant for the finals of the Miss finals and I passed at the final casting.

I expect to justify the expectations of the Miss Croatia management in the finals, I hope to have fun and that everything goes as it should. My family is very happy that I made it to the finals, although none of us expected it.

Tomislav Maric: I am 23 years old and I come from Knin. I am in construction.

I applied for the pageant by accident because I was at the presentation of the video spot of Nives Celzijus and there they asked me if I would want to be a contestant and I said yes. In my free time I play sports, mostly football. My parents were glad I applied for the beauty pageant and they are totally supporting me. I expect the best to win.
