Men Prefer Food Over Sex

Men would rather marry a woman who cooks and they prefer food over sex, a study conducted in Australia discovered.

The old saying seems to be true – the way to a man’s heart is through the stomach. A study conducted among Australians asked men to grade everyday activities in a way as to give the highest grades to the activities they prefer the most, Australia’s News reported. 

The men gave the highest grades to food and life as a whole, while sex came fourth. Also, most men said they found women who cook more sexy and would rather marry them than women who do not know how to cook.

Dr. Haynes, one of the initiators of the research, said that if the results are assessed from the Freudian perspective, it would mean that men feel safe with women who cook for them because it makes them feel as if they are back in their childhood and they personify women with their mothers.

This goes hand in hand with the fact that most women in Australian marriages cook. Also, spending several hours over the stove and then eat does not provide the same pleasure as coming home from work and having a nice meal.
