Natural medicine fighting the common agents

Text

Given the fact that the drugs can be hard for a stomach, and they also presume a lot of side-effects, grasp once for a natural medicine

People mostly fight a headache using drugs. There are lots of natural medicine which could be really helpful in its prevention. Doctor Hademar Bankhofer in his book provided several advices for a successful solving of the headache.

Glass of water

A lot of patients only in a discussion with the doctor come to a conclusion that they feel headache mostly because of the dehydration, in other words, because of the insufficient fluid intake in their body. Don't forget to drink at least a liter and half of water by day. If you feel a headache, pour a large glass of water and leave it for several moments at the room temperature. We believe that you'll feel somewhat relieved as soon as you take it.

Poultices

There are people among us who feel easier with warm, or cold poultices - compresses. If you are more of a poultice person, warm up your head with the woolen cap put a warm flax cloth on your forehead or go with the warm bath for your feet. If you prefer compresses, go with the "cold rolls". Wrap up the ice cubes in the towel, fold it in an aluminium foil and put it under a thin pillow. Lay down so that your nape resides precisely on the "cold roll".

Simple massage

A massage of the energy field, between the root of your thumb and a point finger could be also useful in resolving a headache situation. Massage it using encircled movements for some 30 secondes and repeat the whole procedure after a short break.

Menthol eases pain

A menthol oil is extremely efficient in treating a headache. An oil should be rubbed in the forehead, occiput and the temple and the pain should be gone in no longer than fifteen minutes. Bankhofer explains that the cold menthol blocks exactly those skin receptors who intitiate a headache. He also recommends that on a paper tissue we should put five to seven drops of lavender oil and to smell it occassionally.

Go with the old recepy

Wash a potatoe, slice it in half and use it for rubbing your forehead and the temple until it dries completely. This should put an end to a headache.

Teas

Indian tea as well as the rosemary tea is a proven medicine in headache treatments, reminds Bankhofer. A teaspoon of dried rosemary put in a cup, pour with 250 ml of boiled water, and leave it for ten minutes, strain it and drink it. In a black tea prepared in the usual way add four squashed tinier carnations and leave it for five minutes. Strain it and drink it while it's still warm.
