Young English designers are given the chance to open their views on the Japanese fashion industry with the support of Paul Smith.
English fashion designer Paul Smith has given young designers form the Nottingham Trent University a unique chance to be part of a new programme in collaboration with Bunks Women’s University and Musashino Art in Tokyo.
The chosen students will have the chance to participate in an exchange, and the will have the opportunity to win two scholarships for the year contest of the MA Fashion Futures for Japanese students. Four students of the Nottingham Trent University will receive a three-week view on the Japanese fashion industry.
- I am very pleased to be in a position where I can give what is hopefully an exciting opportunity to students. I think one of the most important experiences in life is travel, and the way this can open your eyes to the world. It certainly has been one of mine – said Paul Smith, who conquered the Japanese market.
