PHOTO: Bathing Costumes Heat Up Miami Beach

Sexy bikinis, one piece bathing costumes, and everything that is worn on the beach was exhibited on the catwalk of the Raleigh Hotel.

Next summer it will be even warmer, it was announced during the Miami Fashion Week. Designers and brands will present their collection of bathing costumes between July 18 and 22.

The catwalk was placed on top of the Raleigh hotel’s pool. Many designer names enhanced it, designers that symbolize luxury with a minimal use of fabric: Monique Lhulier, Badgley Mischka, Alice Temperley, Kevan Hall, Veronika Jeanvie. All of the barriers in design, as well as sea borders, were toppled by the international names Custo Barcelona, Red Carter, Pistol Panties and Vitamin A.

As far as the palette of colours is concerned, next year is the year of precious stones – ruby, turquoise and emerald. One colours creations were missing from the catwalk, and the rulers were prints in vibrant colours, inspired by animals, floral and graphic motifs. An extra sweet vintage look on the bathing costumes was achieved by frills, whilst their sex appeal was stressed by metal rings – a must have detail for the hot summer of 2009.
