PHOTO: Berlin Fashion Week on Fashion Map

The Berlin Fashion Week is building its foundations with the aim of becoming an unavoidable fashion destination.

Berlin, Germany’s capital, has always been known for its music and art scene. It was also recently detected by the fashion radar or editors and fashion lovers across the world. During the Berlin Fashion Week, which lasts from January 28 to February 1, more than two dozen designers will present their collections for the autumn/winter 2009/10 season: Joop!, Boss Black, Lala Berlin, Designer For, and so on.

Among the 700 people who were invited to the atrium of the Berlin Botanical Gardens where the fashion show took place, were, among others, Eva Padburg and Milla Jovovich, while German top models Julie Stegner and Lars Burmeister walked the catwalk.
