On Sunday, Varazdin’s public was entertained by the Brazilian children’s circus `Gisi paraiso do Soi´.

VARAZDIN, CROATIA - The children’s circus “Gisi” started via a social project by the Austrian Gisele Wisniewski in September 2006, in Parajuru in Brazil. The citizens of that town mainly live from agriculture and fishing, and around 60 children attend the circus program by the circus “Gisi”. The best 16 or so usually go on tour in European cities.

The aim of the project was to offer socially endangered children a lighter view on life. Considering that in the frame of that project, apart from the artistic, juggling and other circus skills, the children learn computer literacy, foreign languages, and skills for various trades like physiotherapy, cooking and similar.

Stress has been placed on the development of creativity, taking into account the natural talent of the children. In their circus skills, they do not lag behind the adults, so due to the attractiveness of their performances, they always attract a large public.

Take a look at how the performance in Varazdin looked like in the photo gallery: Brazilian Children’s Circus Perform in Varazdin.
