PHOTO: Burberry`s Gardeners Will Not Weed

Burberry Prorsum has launched soaking gardeners who draw attention with their romantic creations, with flora running through them.

Romantic collection with a gradation of colours has dazzled the Milan catwalk during Burnerry`s fashion show. Filled with the vision of little cute gardeners, the fashion home`s creative director Christopher Bailey dressed them up according to the theme, like papers dolls – in all sorts of ways.

Burberry`s girls wear the recognisable trench coats, combined with romantic muslin dresses with flounces that reach down to the knees. The collection included tight trousers which spread in the calf area to perfectly fall on shoes, as well as golden jackets. Shades of brown, green, grey and blue flowed across creations, giving the impression that Bailey`s girls were left soaking while gardening. Soft fabrics which were used to crate trousers and T-shirts were creased. However, contrasting the fluttery romanticism, flounces and embroidery on the creations, the collection includes waterproof, plasticified garments and classic raincoats, wonderful silver dresses and short jackets.

Burberry Prorsum has skilfully combined what cannot be combined for the 2009 spring/summer collection: romantic dresses and the classicism of trench coats, spiced up with necklaces with large plates lining up or metal floral chaplets, reaching deep into the cleavage. Christopher`s gardeners will surely not be weeding the next season, they will bring out weeds on the urban streets with their unique style.
