Chevrolet Croatia has presented its new model at the Mreznica River – the Chevrolet Cruze.

Cruze is a new global compact Chevrolet car, 4.6 metres long and 1,788 metres wide with a 450-litre spacious trunk. It is affordable and at the same time of a modern design and well equipped. Cruze is one of the most interesting offers on the Croatian market when it comes to an affordable diesel engine.

Presentation of the new Cruze model at the Mreznica River was held by Zvonimir Stanojevic, Chevrolet manager for Croatia.

- This is a car with a powerful and dynamic character, of outstanding appearance; it is affordable and we believe this will make it rise above the competition. Special attention was given to the quality of production and details modelled after products from a higher segment – Stanojevic said.

The Chevrolet Cruze has a 1.6 and 1.8 litre petrol engine on offer and a 2 litre turbo diesel engine.

The 1.6 litre engine develops the maximum power of 114 HP at 6,400 rotations per minute and 153 Nm of torque at 4,200 rotations.

The 1.8 litre engine with 141 HP offers even better performance. This engine speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.5 and 10 seconds and petrol consumption in a combined circuit amounts to 6.7 and 6.8 litres at 100 km.
