Mercedes CLK has a new heir in the shape of the E class coupe.

Audi A5 and its market success, along with the fact that the new E-class will soon arrive on the market had a logical consequence – the Mercedes E-class coupe. This is a car which should again start using the loan brought by the W126 and W124 series in the coupe editions.

The designer E-class coupe “leans” on the current CL in the hips and the new E-class in the front. Of course, the interior has not suffered great alterations in relation to the E-class, the greatest one being in the back. Two separate seats took the place of a unique bend in a limousine.

New four cylinder car

Mercedes claims that they can be used by adults, however this is rarely the case with coupes and we believe the same thing will be with the new E-class coupe. The start of sale brings five engines – three petrol and two diesel engines. The later ones are the E250 CDI BlueEDDICIENCY which develops 201 hp and 350 CDI with 231 hp.

Entirely new four-cylinder E250 CGI with direct fuel injection delivers 204 hp and is the weakest petrol powered engine, followed by the famous E350, while the top of the offer is the V8 E500 with 388 hp. The AMG performance with 6.2 litre V8 atmosphere petrol powered engine is also in store.
