Monday was the busiest day of London Fashion Week. Famous and esteemed designers presented their autumn/winter collections.

London Fashion Week was a bit briefer than previously, but this just means more action was packed in every day. Monday was the busiest day of London Fashion Week, with resounding names that should be pointed out, like Luella and Giles Deacon, who are international stars.

Luella said her collection was different to her last season`s creations, but she pointed out that it still maintains the same values and character. And it truly does, it is a bit darker and more punk than last season.

The most awaited fashion show took place in the other side of London, that of Giles Deacon.

Dim lights and a lot of fur is what will be first noticed, but the more subtle details like jewellery, prints on little cocktail dresses and coats hit bull`s eye. The coats had zippers from the top to the bottom, leaving you with the choice how much you want to reveal.

- I wanted the madness, the fun, the experimentation of my student days. After 20 years I wanted to re-evaluate and re-create that feeling of anything goes - Deacon told Vogue.

The thrill was successful, judging by the audience. Jade Parfitt, Rosin Murphy and Lorraine Kelly joked that the “We love Giles” fan club would open the show. Who would not like to join in?!

The 2009/2010 autumn/winter collection by Welsh designer Julien Macdonald was perfectly rounded and more focused on details than last season.

British fashion institution Paul Smith also presented himself at London Fashion Week with cheerfully coloured and layered knitting and a cool military style.
