Young designers opened the Milan Fashion Week, and big fashion houses like D&G continued the show.

The Milan Fashion Week, which lasts until March 3, will present collections by around 80 fashion houses.

Large brands such as Armani, Versace and Gucci will present their women’s collections for autumn/winter 2009/2010 in Milan, whilst Roberto Cavalli cancelled his show.

The world economic crisis has left its mark on the fashion industry, but despite that, Milan has around ten collections more than before the crisis.
