Regardless of the fears for the model’s heads, the Barac fashion show was remembered for the collection of multifunctional clothing.

The Fashion.hr fashion show prepared white scenery that was signed by the studio Grupa, in order to more convincingly present collections for autumn/winter 2009/2010 from February 12 to 14.

Fashion has become slippery in order to avoid the recession, and we had the opportunity to see models slipping on the catwalk. As we find out from close sources, the accident occurred due to “non-taped” shoe soles (the soles of the shoes are usually covered in tape), whist some present in the public claim that the thing to blame is the steam that was creating a fog – take a look at the photo gallery: Models Fall at the Fashion.hr Fashion Show.

Regardless of the fear for somebody’s head, we remembered Ivana Barac’s fashion show for the excellent collection of multifunctional clothing items: a top that can be turned into a backpack, a coat that can become a jacket and pelerine, and bags that become skirts. Her vision of a sexy woman was created with black leather and polyester. Unfortunately, the magic of Ivana’s multifunctional clothing items was not seen on the catwalk, where the transformation from one item to another was not seen. Ivana Barac Autumn/Winter 2009/2010.

"The creation of the idea for the collection was another process, whilst the mechanical part was over in three weeks" said Barac whilst dressing models backstage.

Ana Maria Ricov was a real refreshment with her collection, for which she claims is very personal.

“I did everything that I would like to wear” said Ricov after the show.

The creations were made from natural materials, wool, cotton, and a combination of woven and knitted materials, and the models, to complete the style, were wearing hats on their heads like swimmers. Ana Maria Ricov Autumn/Winter 2009/10.

Edelweiss, wool flower was a motif that entered the collection by Maja and Petra Spoljar. Their dresses were made from wool, in a combination of red, grey, white and red.

“Elegance and sex appeal is the motto. The whole collection was created with around 1,000 circles that linked in various ways to get the mentioned flower. Every dress has around 120 of those circles, they are quite heavy, and create an effect, their surface is relief” said the Spoljar sisters after the fashion show. Igor Dobranovic presented a black-white collection made from wool, organdie and taffeta, for which, as he reveals, found inspiration in the film “Great Expectations”. Igor Dobranovic Autumn/Winter 2009/10.

The first day of the Quelle Fashion.hr was closed by Ivica Skoko, whose collection was mostly made by dresses with frills made from silk, muslin, lace with additions of feathers.

The Latino traditional spirit was present through the use of black that was freshened with red. Ivica Skoko Autumn/Winter 2009/10.
