Addy van den Krommenacker’s dresses thrilled the audience, and brought a breath of Hollywood movie glamour from the 50s and 60s.
The Sarajevo Fashion Week is an event which has been a gathering point for European and world designers for eight years, twice a year. the motto of this year’s fashion event, which lasts from May 15 to 19, if Fashion without Frontiers. The organisation made sure to break all frontiers with foreign designers and fashion companies: Addy van den Krommenacker from the Netherlands, Calypso from France, Cesar’s and Sexto Senso form Italy. The guests were joined with names form the whole area of former Yugoslavia: Jovan Petrovski, Nikola Bulevski and Maja Kikiritkova from Macedonia, Predrag Kotarac and Vera Radanovic from Serbia, Shkodrani, Rezearta Skifteri and Ardi Asllani from Albania, and Bosnian designers Ata Omerbasic, Alen K, etc. Among them there were no designers from Croatia.
According to fashionweek.ba, the star of the night was famous Dutch designer Addy van den Krommenacker, who brought a breath of Hollywood movie glamour from the 50s and 60s. His beautiful evening dress collections were made in woollen material and a range of colours that went from icy grey, sliver, gold, yellow, blue to red from the wardrobes of movie divas bore the name of “Ode to a woman”.
