PHOTO: Lanvin’s Elegance With a Cocktail Glass

Alber Elbaz is the creative director of the fashion house Lanvin. He presented his collection for spring/summer 2009 during the Paris Fashion Week. He presented his elegant woman with a refined profile, someone holding a cocktail that is only served in glasses made from the thinnest glass, with a wide rim.

Elbaz intriguingly draped the creations along the thigh of the skirts, one shoulder strap of a dress that was made from the example of togs, whilst the same approach was applied to all the silk tops – it is as if cuts do not exist for him. Black, white, red, purple and gentle pink were the colours that dominated, and Elbaz put the “G” in glamour with the addition of crystals to the clothing.

The classic and elegant Lanvin woman is also practical – which is why they wear creations that close on the back or side with a zipper.
