Designers dress up models at the speed of light with skilful hands, while make-up artists and hairstylists try to adjust their look to the theme, so that the collection is presented well on the catwalk.

Tomo Vrban and Sasa Jokovic co-ordinated the Max Factor team and 50 models went through their hands during the second day of the Fashion.hr show in Varazdin. Approximately, a model is done in 20 minutes, Vrban said.

- When Sasa and I work in a team, then this is great because we cover for each other and we also have a team of Max Factor make-up artists who help us do all the work – Tomo Vrban said, in full swing backstage.

He also added that the type of make-up we see on the catwalk is rather stereotypical and beauty orientated, because “people love seeing beautiful women” and the advantage is that the make-up goes well with all the clothes. However, as Tomo Vrban reveals, Sasa Joka and he are delighted to be doing haute couture make-up one day.
