Italian high street brand Miss Sixty which cherishes a retro style, drew inspiration for its new collection in the 80s.

During the current New York Fashion Week, Miss Sixty presented its collection, Italian brand headed by creative artist and designer Wichy Hassan. Miss Sixty toned down the passion when it comes to colours for the 2009/2010 autumn/winter season, however, prints were abundant, which are a signature for this brand.

Miss Sixty spiced up its hippy rebellious girl with the delights of shoulder pads and 80s` leggings with printed signs like: Sexy, Love, Cool, She`s a Doll… everything an urban modern girl should be. A touch of retro combined with street fashion was emphasised with washed out black jeans, apart from the prints, while the waistline was especially accentuated with thick leather belts.

Demi Moore, Paris Hilton and Mischa Barton are just a few famous women who can be seen wearing clothes by urban and effeminate Miss Sixty style.
