A small puppy was rescued and does not have to take part in do fights, where most of them are killed.

Dog fights are held all over the world in carefully chosen spaces, i.e. 4x4 metre rings. Dogs clash in the intended area and the owner of the defeated dog must acknowledge that their dog is weaker. On the contrary, this would mean certain death for their dog.

Fights are not just organised by the underground scene, but intellectuals and university professors as well, making the whole matter even sadder.

A dog which is ready and has been trained for fighting is mostly a mixed-breed dog and the breeds are mixed in order for blood-thirsty aggression to be implanted into the animals. Breeders, of course, do not care about the dogs, they only care about the money they make by betting on the fights, which can turn into hefty amounts.
