Although for years girls whose breast and hip sizes would not exceed 80 centimetres always won at beauty pageants, the English have decided to break that trend.

The first runner up of Miss England who stirred public attention even before she won the title is 17-year-old Chloe. She weighs 80 kilograms, wears size 46 and her hips are 106 centimetres wide, which is a precedent in such competitions.

Tihana Harapin Zalepugin, the owner of the Talia Models fashion agency and owner of the Ford Models for Croatia, insists on a strict division of models and miss contenders, so she is not that shocked with the election of the first runner up of Miss England.

- Misses and models are two different worlds. It rarely happened that miss contenders became models. Branka Bebic and Vanja Rupena are truly exceptions. I understand that there are more and more girls with a few extra kilograms who enter various pageants, but there really has to be a limit – Tihana said.

She added that it could never happen that a girl who weighs 80 kilograms enters, let alone, wins a Ford Models pageant.

- True, the girl has a pretty face, but this is just too much. I do not understand what they wanted to state in England by doing this. Maybe Dove was their sponsor, which would then make sense with regards to their ads – Tihana concluded.
